Henry Valentino, a career entrepreneur, founded E>Connect in 2009 with the mission of providing enterprise systems for real time actionable Business Intelligence Broadcasting. E>Connect provides customers with software to manage and direct labor costs and productivity measurements using a combination of Business Intelligence Data and Video surveillance systems.

In 1998 Valentino pioneered Video Centric Business Intelligence founding SmartConnect in 1998. As CEO and president, Valentino managed SmartConnect’s overall corporate and product direction and strategy, and was responsible for key business partnerships, and major customer relationships. With his experience in data communications and telecommunications, Valentino created SmartConnect’s Digital Vision system, leveraging advances in digital imaging, data mining and broadband to provide restaurants with an ideal solution that provides greater visibility into their operations to maximize revenues.

Valentino has more than 26 years of experience in building, financing and managing companies in the data communications, telecommunications, streaming media and retail management industries. He has founded, built and sold several innovative technology companies. In 1999, Valentino sold Digisys, a data communications company to CenturyTel, on of the largest telecommunications companies in the U.S. Prior to that, Fiber Services Inc., a telecommunications service firm, was sold to Verio in 1998. In addition, Valentino founded GV Communications, a telecommunications software company, in the late eighties and sold it to Lottery Play in 1990.
